‘Tis The Season of Donating to Charity

Christmas is the season for giving.

Springfield is spreading joy this Christmas by giving back to the community. Instead of giving our traditional corporate gifts, we’ve chosen to donate £600 to several impactful charities in the hope that we can make a meaningful difference to the lives of others.

Andy’s Man Club

Andy’s Man Club is a suicide prevention charity that provides crucial support and a safe space for men to talk openly about their mental health issues.

Andy’s Man Club operates a network of regional and online peer-to-peer support groups where men can come together in a non-judgmental environment to share their feelings, experiences, and challenges. The club focuses on fostering open conversations about mental health to encourage a sense of community and solidarity among its participants to help end the stigma surrounding men’s mental health and reduce suicide rates.

Giddo’s Gift

Giddo’s Gift aims to brighten the lives of teenagers and young adults living with Cancer as they undergo gruelling treatment by granting their wishes and providing financial grants.

The charity’s work creates a positive distraction and allows families to create precious memories with their loved ones.

Giddo’s Gift also raises vital funds for Sarcoma UK and Histiocytosis UK to aid research into these diseases, help find a cure, and ultimately improve the lives of future patients.

Julian Trust

Julian Trust Bristol

Julian Trust is a charity that provides overnight accommodation, warmth, and support for the homeless in Bristol. Julian Trust aims to provide basic first-stage emergency accommodation to get people off the streets and help individuals move towards more stable housing.

National Deaf Children’s Society

The National Deaf Children’s Society is a charity that supports deaf and hard-of-hearing children and their families. The organisation provides services, resources, and advocacy support efforts to ensure deaf children can thrive and reach their full potential.

Keech Hospice Care

Keech Hospice Care provides free, specialist care for children and adults with life-limiting illnesses. The Hospice provides a safe, homely, and welcoming environment that helps patients live pain-free and remain out of hospital.

We’re thrilled to be able to support these incredible charities and the work that they do. Here’s to a Christmas filled with warmth, kindness, and the joy of giving!

At Springfield, we’re committed to supporting charities that help make a difference in the lives of others and aim to continue this as part of our company culture.
