What are the Benefits of using Modular Buildings for Schools?
If your school is expanding and running out of space, it’s important to find a solution within budget – and fast! Simply put, Springfield modular school buildings are your answer, and here’s why…
Stay within your timeframe and budget
We understand that costs need to be kept under control, but also believe that doesn’t mean you should compromise on space, style or building time. Our years of experience mean we can work with you to quickly design a modular school building, or additional modular classrooms, that suit the needs of your school, whilst staying within budget.
We also pride ourselves on our quick building times, meaning work can be completed within the school holidays if need be – perfect if you’re expecting an influx of new students come the next school term. You’ll need to hurry though if you need installation this summer as our order books are nearly full from other schools across the UK.
Modular building construction offers less disruption
Children and building sites aren’t a good mix. Building sites can be dangerous, loud and disruptive, and this is why modular school buildings make a great alternative to a traditional build. The last thing you want is the noisy banging of a traditional building site, accompanied by the chit chat of your builders when you’re encouraging a class full of student to reach their full potential. Worse still if it’s exam season, when silence is imperative!
With Springfield, most of our building is done off-site. Our modular buildings are then delivered to site on a flat-bed or Hi-Ab wagon and positioned using either the Hi-Ab wagon or by stand-alone crane. It couldn’t be simpler! This can even be done outside of term time, giving your students the peace and quiet they need to study.
Enjoy reduced environmental impact with modular school buildings
If you’re teaching your students how to reduce their environmental impact, then a modular school building means you’re leading by example.
Our buildings are manufactured to last, and with less rubbish and waste on site, building a modular classroom is much more sustainable than a traditional build. We’re proud of our processes and feel it sets a great example to future generations.
Springfield modular buildings give your bespoke options
We know that a school is a place to be proud of, and our modular buildings aim to enhance what’s already there.
