Together with first class customer service, technical knowledge and extensive product range. JDP is truly a convenient one-stop shop for customers and committed to providing the total solution for client projects.

OVERVIEW:

JDP strategy of providing its products close to its client’s projects dictated a cost-effective way to deliver an infrastructure of new customer centre/branches.

The new branches needed to showcase JDP’s new branch identity, offer a convenient, welcoming and efficient place for customers to be served, together with a need to meet the Company’s environmental reduction impact policy.

Modular buildings clearly ticked all the boxes and offered a consistency of design and size at every site, minimum disruption during the build phase and offered all the benefits of a traditional build at a fraction of the cost and time.

Once the decision to choose modular construction was made, JDP was keen to find a supplier who could meet their exacting standards on sustainability, price, and delivery.

Springfield Mobile Limited met and exceeded the brief, impressing JDP with our control over production from design to manufacture right through to installation with a dedicated project manager handling the job from start to finish. Our flexibility in working with all clients to provide a bespoke solution built around their needs ensured that each building was perfect for their needs.

KEY ISSUES FACED BY CLIENT:

Given the importance of the new branch strategy to JDP it was important to find an experienced reputable partner capable of coping with multiple orders across a number of UK sites who would handle each project from start to finish.  A Company that offered to produce units exactly to their specification and meets their environmental policy was also important. Finally, the need to work with a partner who could deliver a hassle-free experience was particularly important. It was also crucial to work with a financially sound partner.

WHAT SPRINGFIELD DID:

Following the initial tendering stage and subsequent appointment as the supplier to JDP a dedicated project manager was assigned to work with them to ensure a seamless process and delivery of their bespoke unit on time and on budget.  Plans were produced, to reflect JDP requirements, amended and approved which included, kitchen, toilet, and trade counter internally. Externally, hidden roller shutters were installed to provide night time security. The unit was finished in goosewing grey plastisol with aluminum powder coated fascia’s, delivered to a site and fitted out.

SUMMARY AND KEY BENEFITS:

JDP and Springfield have established a strong partnership to provide a number of Trade Facilities across the UK enabling JDP to extend their one-stop trade counters into new areas cost-effectively and at a faster rate than possible with a traditional build.

JDP have had their needs met for consistency, sustainability, flexibility of design, speed of construction and competitive pricing and Springfield have gained another delighted client with ongoing requirements.

JDP can now plan to grow their trade counter business confident that new, secure, high-quality units will be delivered to their specification on time and on budget wherever required in mainland UK.

“We used Spring Field last year for our new branch in Cambridge. We were so happy with the quality and standard of the building that we decided to follow the same design for our new branch in Bolton.”
Colin Green, JDP’s National Customer Experience Manager
